About the Speaker

Joe Steffens – Joe and Daniel Steffens (father and son) are the owners of Furniture Medic TTL Furniture and Cabinet Restoration, a local independently owned and operated franchise of Furniture Medic.  Joe is a graduate of Wheaton College with a B.A. in Business / Economics and a minor in Biblical Studies.  He has an M.B.A. from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT.  Daniel was homeschooled and graduated in May of 2017.

August’s Topic – The Seven Principles of Life and Success. Principles are things that always work, whether you know them or not. Think about gravity. It works whether you know about it or not. By studying and understanding the principle of gravity, man was able to harness its power to enable us to more than we could before; e.g. airplanes, skydiving, crane operation, rockets, orbit, satellites. If you know and understand these seven principles of life, and can harness their power, you will be able to use them to increase your success beyond what you ever thought possible.

He truly believes that we were designed for accomplishment, engineered for success, and endowed with the seeds of greatness and God wants us to live fully alive to His glory, and that we can be happy, healthy, reasonably prosperous, secure, have good friends, peace of mind, good family relationships, and hope that the future can be better than the present.

However, more than an opportunity, it’s a calling from God. Drawing from his recently published book, “In Search of Shalom”, Roy shares how that calling can become a reality. Roy’s talk is not a “steps-to-success” approach but a road to freedom, fulfilment and excitement.

Roy Hanschke – For over sixty years Roy Hanschke has served Christ in various capacities including education, business, church ministry and Christian radio. He’s currently part of the morning team on KPOF radio, Denver. In addition, Roy is a devoted student of the Bible who also writes, speaks, trains speakers and serves his church in men’s ministry and outreach. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking the Colorado mountains and reading.
