Apprentice Introduction

I'm a homeschooled graduate, teenager, or college student. Why should I get involved in AME?

The AME Program connects professionals with prospective apprentices, to provide a better life-integrated, character-building work experience for home schooled youth on the college and entrepreneurial life tracks. Here are some of the benefits of mentorship in the AME Program:

  • The apprentice has the opportunity to try out a calling, first hand, before investing 4-6 years of college preparing for something that he was never called to do.
  • He will receive a life-integrated education, that will put him far ahead of the average college graduate who did not have the 4-6 years of mentorship.
  • He may also have opportunity to earn significant money if he proves himself in the mentorship, while others are incurring college debt.
  • An apprentice will discover by real life experience how multiple aspects of a field of study and work interrelate in a finished product or service.
  • Once a long-term relationship is established with a mentor, some focus can be provided towards the most important part of the apprentice's preparation for work life - his character.

Yes, I'd like to be part of the AME Program!

As a homeschooled graduate in Colorado, I have been mentored for the last 3 years. I can honestly say that this mentorship has been one of the most positive, life-changing educational experiences I have ever had. The opportunity to walk alongside a godly mentor throughout the day - learning the real-life of business, ministry, and management skills - has been absolutely invaluable to me.
